I just wanted to let everyone know that after the first of the year we are going to be planning alot of thing that have to do with the celebrations. We are going to be working on Shirt Designs, chooing where to eat as well as getting Grand Gathering informations all sat up so that we can start booking rooms and such as well. I know that this is a busy time of year so we are going to wait until about Jan 10th or so to start on everything. Please make sure to check back for all the up to date...

Celebration Date Change?

I was thinking and wanted to know what everyone else thought. I know that money is tight for everyone right now so I thought that maybe we could change the dates to Sept where we would be able to get the free dinning as well as MNSSHP. If we went the 3rd week we would be able to catch te Food and Wine Festival as well.. I wanted to know what everyone thought. Before any changes were made.

For some of us who haven't been to DisneyWorld in a while (Such as me, at least 9 years) or for people who haven't ever been to Disney World, I thought it would be great if the people who have, to put the changes they have seen, great hotels, eateries, and the best attractions to start seeing first, before we get to our Meet in 2010. This way we can familiarize ourselves and pretend to know what we are doing when we get there.

Head's Up Travelers To WDW!!

I was talking to another Basementeer in chat the other night and he asked if I knew about the POP Warner Football and Cheerleading Championships, this takes during December! This year's competition is Dec 5-11, 2009, and they are usually at the All Star resorts with the overflow at Port Orleans. I want anyone going this year and more than likely next year to be aware so if you want to avoid a ton of teens, you can! If I can get anymore information i'll update it here! Hope this helps...

Will those traveling without children or "others" want to room together? Might need to have a separate post for that to see what everyone is thinking.

Carrie, I don't know if Josette will be coming with me or not but either way (if Disney lets me have 3 adults in the room) you are welcome to be in our room.

We will have an official WB Dinner at WDW in Dec of 2010, which means we would like you to voice your nominations for where we should all have that great meal!

Keep in mind, we will be a large group! Can't fit into the smaller places, that's for sure. We will vote on this as well.

Again, this will be for an evening DINNER. Breakfast and Luncheon plans will come later.

The first is to make a face but using everyones photo to show the "Many Faces" of Walts. OR BETTER YET--Our face with EARS on it. So it would be maybe my right eye, your lips, etc.

The other idea is pics of us flying in on Magic Carpets flying into the Magic Kingdom.

Both of my ideas require our pics.

Feel free to throw my ideas out the window but that is what I have so far. I KNOW that I think so far out of the box that it seems crazy so...
