I could use some prayers and pixie dust. As some of you know, I run a semi-annual children's consignment sale here in Boise. I started it three years ago with another woman. Over time, she has done less and less each sale and I end up doing more and more. My husband does all of our tech work and accounting, so basically we are doing all of it. I finally had enough this last sale and told her that I didn't think I wanted to do it any more. She picked up the pace a little, but at that point, it was just too late. She finally came to her senses and asked me if I would buy her out. I'm going to be making her an offer this week, but I'm afraid it won't be what she is looking for. I'm offering her 1/2 of the money that is in the bank and 1/2 of the resale value of the equipment that we purchased. Frankly, it is a generous offer considering that she hasn't done 1/2 of the work, but I'm afraid she is going to think there is some blue sky value to the business that there really isn't. I could use some prayers that she is reasonable and will accept my offer.

I could also use prayers for another issue. Dh is looking at a new job that would be a real boost in pay, but it will require that he travel almost every week. He is a very hands on Dad, so he will miss a lot of their lives, but it will offer us a ton of financial security. We could use prayers for helping us make the right decision for our family.
