Hey, in my defense, it's just too hot to go out and do much in August....hehe.

I'm down to just over a month until we leave. I'm super excited! I have to start making special requests, like cake orders or other little things that I can do ahead of time for the birthday boys. We'll be leaving before we know it!

28 days!! 28 days!! I got one special request accomplished yesterday. I left a message for the manager of Coral Reef to ask about the diver and/or the personalized menus that they can do (free of charge, I might add!). She got back to me yesterday....they can't do the diver due to our ADR time, but they CAN do the menus...I'm having one made for Garrick and one for Marty to celebrate their birthdays! Now I just have to email her 3 to 6 photos for her to use on the menus. The one slight hiccup - my darling husband had a mishap while trimming his goatee this morning..and had to shave all the facial hair! EEK! I thought I would have time to get pics taken of him over the weekend....but he doesn't like how he looks like this, so I won't memorialize it in a menu...lol. I'm thrilled that one of my plans is happening. Now I have to order a cake for Marty and the basket I'm going to get delivered to our room for him. Then we need to get Garrick's cake ordered. It's all (slowly) coming together. I am counting down the days!!!

I'm trying to get everything in order....we leave three weeks from this coming Friday. I need to start putting packing lists together, and next weekend we are picking up the roof rack carrier that we are borrowing from my ex's inlaws. Once we get that.....it'll seem a lot more real to be leaving soon. I started showing the kids YouTube videos of different rides....Maddie wasn't too sure about the Tower of Terror this morning (she was looking at my tshirt - I got it at MGM on our honeymoon) but after watching the video she now wants to ride. We'll see how she feels when she is actually faced with the ride. I have to send the pictures to the manager at Coral Reef for the menus, and I have to order both cakes and the basket I want to have for Marty for his birthday/father's day. After that, I just have to worry about packing and getting all that in order. I'm excited!
