Once upon a time there was a little girl named Sarah. When she was 1 she and her Mom would visit Disneyland on a weekly basis. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a week! It was very fun for both of them.

On their first visit, however, Sarah saw these HUGE characters. She knew them by name, but boy did they look scary up close. At first, she thought she'd stay pretty far away......



Then, she started thinking a hand shake might be okay.......



and maybe let them get in a squeeze.....



Then she saw Winnie the Pooh. Pooh wasn't scary! She ran to him and did not want to let go.



No one could have been happier than Sarah at that moment. Until......



...a hug from favorite Princess Ariel made her day.

I remember this like it was yesterday, not 10 years ago. Looking back at these pictures, I'm starting to get the same tears in my eyes I had then when I knew my little girl had the same love for Disney as her Mom.


I don't know if this picture comes across okay, because I scanned it from a glass frame, but this was another (of many) visits where Sarah found a friend. It hangs on the wall right outside her room......




There are so many more pictures I can't wait to share with you guys. Having my kids grow up so close to Disneyland has been such a joy!
